Our Hunting Packages consist of one-on-one guides, the equivalent to four star lodging, beverages and gourmet meals. There are three types of hunts available: tower/tree/ground blinds, spot and stalk or rattling. We only harvest Mature Whitetail Bucks and pricing is based on Boone and Crockett score.
The 5F Ranch is located 2 ½ hours southwest of FT. Worth/Dallas or 2 hours West of Austin in the very Heart of Texas amid rolling hills, stands of oaks and native pecan with the Blanket Creek running through it. 13 years of careful game management has made us a top trophy Whitetail hunting destination. 5F Ranch has been MLDP 3 for 13 years, which is a selective management program we participate in with Texas Parks and Wildlife that allows us to offer you an extended hunting season. The 2017 Hunting Season begins September 30 through February 28th 2018. (Archery & Rifle.) We provide the tags!

The 5F Ranch offers a variety of challenging whitetail deer hunting terrain from Live oak, Spanish oak and Lacy Oak forests, creeks lined with hundreds of Pecan and Cedar Elm trees, Cedar thickets to open fields. The 800 acres feels like 3000 and is filled with roaming herds of exotic game and trophy whitetail deer. This property has been carefully managed for 8 years to promote healthy, huge whitetail. Comfortable carpeted and insulated blinds are strategically placed around the ranch overlooking a protein feeder and corn feeder or if you prefer we love to guide Spot & Stalk, or Rattling up bucks during the rut. There are also plenty of wild hogs, foxes, coyotes and Rio Grande turkey – Hunters can harvest a hog at no additional charge.
You will be staying in our incredible Trophy Deer Hunting Lodge fully decorated with American and African game and décor – a beautiful pool table built from Colorado mining timbers, poker table, leather sofas, giant TV and one of the biggest fireplaces you’ll ever see. Our meals are BIG – Texas sized breakfasts, lunches and dinners, appetizers, snacks for the blind/hunt and a fully stocked bar for evening. After dinner enjoy relaxing on our back porch that looks out over fields of roaming game or cozy up to our fire pit and join in the story telling!
In your down time watch football, go bass fishing – which is complimentary to all of our guests or schedule a Sporting Clay shoot off our Wobble trap and 7 stations which is right off the back porch (there is a $75/100 shot fee.)
We have 6 comfortable 2 man insulated, carpeted blinds, several pop up blinds and 4 tree blinds for the bowhunting enthusiast. Most shots are 100 yards or less to ensure better success. Our shooting range, Trigger Happy, offers 25, 50 and 100 yard targets to sight in your rifle or pistol plus has several fun targets to improve your shooting skills.
Bring your Texas Hunting license, weapon of choice, ammunition, cammo and a few ice chests to take home your game. We have a nearby meat processor if you desire to have it processed close by or donated to Hunt for the Hungry.
