Guest Cabin
The 5F Guest cabin is just a few steps away from our Lodge, allowing for easy access and privacy. Featuring 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each room, private bath with shower, separate thermostats and walk-in closets, the Guest home is perfect for any visitor.
There is a comfortable living area between the bedrooms with a sleeper sofa, TV, refrigerator, and Keurig coffeemaker for your private morning moments on the backporch. Step outside to enjoy rocking on the porch while taking in inspiring views overlooking Blanket creek, towering pecans and beautiful sunrises! You can bring your favorite pillow if you wish, but all facilities are fully equipped.
During your stay you will enjoy exquisite meals prepared fresh daily, beverages and a full service bar (after the hunt). Capture a famous Texas sunset over Vado Pond while relaxing on our front porch, or wander down to try your hand at fishing. From the back porch you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the countryside, watch the various wildlife or perfect your aim at our 2 man Wobble Trap just steps away. Off-Season Lodging at 5F Ranch
Our magnificent new lodge features a breathtaking trophy room filled with game from around the world and a massive European fireplace sure to keep you warm on a cold Texas night. You can play pool on the hand-hewn timber pool table or watch your favorite team on the 60” HD TV. Stay in touch with family or associates with our WIFI Internet.
Enjoy our finest cuisine and recount your outrageous hunting stories in the comfortable dining area while overlooking the beautiful Texas countryside. Get a cup of fresh coffee or a glass of your favorite wine and sit on the big back porch. Kick up your feet and relax. Enjoy the ambiance of your surroundings and unwind. At night you can sit outdoors by our stone fire pit and look at a billion stars in a sky so clear you feel like you can almost touch them. The 5F Lodge sleeps up to 6 people and is also equipped with a mudroom, providing individual private lockers for each hunter.
Guest access
All water is filtered. We include linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, soap, coffee, chef's kitchen. Bring your own food and beverages. Bring your own fishing equipment and bikes.
We can do small reunions; Sporting Clay events; Business Meetings/Retreats. We will customize an event to meet your needs and budget.

Guests have access to most of the 800-acre ranch including the fishing ponds, creek, old west Blanket Cemetery, wildlife viewing houses -photo safari is extra but very fun, gas fire pit, picnic and swimming area around lake, open roads throughout ranch, kayaks, paddle boat. Supervised access to pistol range, rifle range and Sporting Clay facilities available for an additional fee can be arranged. Bird watching is encouraged. Lots of Hummingbirds and other native Texas birds everywhere. Guests can arrange a visit to feed deer at no charge.
Local Activities:
5F Lodge has 1 upstairs bedroom w/ ensuite bath, 1 queen, 4 twins & 2 single fold-out sofas. Our nearby cabin has 2 ensuite bedrooms with 2 queens in each room, a double fold out sofa, microwave, Keurig, mini fridge, and washer/dryer. Beautiful porch with views of hills and Blanket Creek. 5F Lodge has a chef's kitchen that includes nearly everything a seasoned cook could want plus a large dining table and 2 game tables; The back porch has an electric smoker and wood/charcoal BBQ pit. The gas fire pit seats 10 and has amazing views - both day and night! Cozy up to our castle-sized fireplace, 60" TV, Wi-Fi, beautiful bar with ice maker, drink fridge and wine fridge. It is stocked with games - Croquet, Corn hole, Poker, Pool, net and paddles for Pickle ball, Badminton or Volleyball, plus many table games - felt for Craps or Blackjack. Get outside and take a drive or a hike around the ranch and catch glimpses of amazing wildlife. Go visit the historic Blanket Springs cemetery dating from 1880's. The possibilities are endless and there is more to do than time usually allows.

Stay at the beautiful 5F Lodge and 2-bedroom cabin all to yourself. Hundreds of native and exotic wildlife to enjoy - Scimitar Horned Oryx, Axis, Blackbuck, Texas Dall Rams, Waterbuck, and massive Whitetail. Some of the deer are so friendly you can feed them by hand!! Spend the day at our spring fed Cristobal Lake for some picnicking, swimming, relaxing, kayaking or fishing. The lake is stocked with huge Bass. Arrange to go to Trigger Happy Pistol & Rifle range for shooting fun under a canopy of trees or shoot sporting clays off the back porch at our 10-station range, (additional fees apply).
